I started my weight loss journey in January of 2012, but I didn't really "get serious" about it until August of that same year, after I saw a picture of myself from the Newlywed game show.

Since then, I've made my health and fitness a priority.  I started this blog, started tracking my calories, and took up running.  Through the use of Shakeology and various programs like Insanity, T25, and the 21 Day fix, I've lost over 50 pounds to date.
